where do we train?

Capoeira, known more commonly as dance fighting, is an Afro-Brazilian martial art and game that includes elements of dance, acrobatics, music and spirituality. It is known for its acrobatic and complex maneuvers, often involving hands on the ground and inverted kicks.

Our group started in 2021 at Glasgow Autonomous Space in the South side of Glasgow, where we provided free capoeira classes for a group of enthusiastic new capoeiristas, with the closure of GAS, we moved to Ile ache studio in clyde bank where we continue our classes every Saturday at 1 pm.

We run beginners workshops at the Centre for Contemporary Arts in Glasow (351 Sacuchihall Street) our next workshop is scheduled to start on the 14 of December, click on the button below to book directly on the CCA website.
